The Morning coat is more suitable for daytime celebrations (until dusk). It consists of a black frock coat with a cutaway front and peaked lapels. Pants –always without cuff- have gray and black stripes.

The vest can be single or double breasted, being light gray the recommended color.  However different tonalities such as light yellow and light blue are also interesting.

The morning coat is worn with a classic white cotton dress shirt (with Italian on Kent collar, and always with French –double- cuff to wear cufflinks), and a silk tie –never bow tie-.  The best tie for the morning coat is the classic grey silk tie. Despite a note of color in the tie may also be interesting, you should not break the balance and elegance of the morning coat with a too strident tie.

Regarding the proper shoes, a classic that always works is a pair of black Oxfords, but black derby shoes or even monk strap shoes are also acceptable.

The Suit is less formal than the Morning Suit, but widely used today by grooms all over the world. One of its benefits is that it can be worn in many different occasions after the wedding.

However, in such an important occasion, the groom's appearance should differ from that of a current day at the office. We suggest you to avoid using fabrics with diplomatic stripe and checked patterns, and instead to choose a plain dark suit, preferably with two buttons
The vest is the secret that will allow us to break the monotony of a "normal" suit. By wearing a vest (single or double breasted), the suit immediately will look more elegant and formal. The shirt should always be 100% cotton with Italian collar and French cuff. White dress shirts are the most formal and elegant selection, but other colors are also acceptable.

For footwear, black Oxfords are always the best choice.

Especially popular as a wedding suit in the United States, this timeless classic can also be worn in other evening events and parties.

It consists of a black dinner jacket (sometimes also midnight blue, white or ivory) and black pants (with a silk or satin braid). The waist can be covered by a cummerbund or a vest, both made with the same material used for lapels, pants braid and other tuxedo details.  It must be worn with a white shirt, with double cuffs and wing or turndown collar, and a black bow tie (made of the same fabric used in the lapel facings).
